Get your questions in to a leading female scientist who was involved in developing the COVID vaccine!

Exciting opportunity ahead! Children and young people are invited to ask their questions to a leading female scientist who was involved in developing the COVID vaccine!

Scientist Federica Cappucini will be in the Media Cubs hotseat on 2nd March, 6-7pm – and we’re inviting children and young people to join us at this virtual press conference or to send their questions in advance for Federica to answer.

Federica Cappuccini is Senior Post Doctoral Scientist working at the University of Oxford. Federica has worked on an EU funded project which developed a vaccine against prostate cancer and recently helped to oversee the COVID trial vaccine team, testing immune responses as a senior immunologist.

If your pupils or children are interested in working in STEM, the science behind the vaccine, gathering career advice or perhaps they’d like to know more about her background, inspirations, hopes and dreams – then invite them to join us at this free event.

Contact team@mediacubs.co.uk by Friday 25th February with your questions and to sign up to attend the press conference. Everyone who attended or submitted a question will receive a video report of the press conference to see if your question was answered by Frederica.

You can find out more about Federica here.
