Mini Reporters take over a magazine for grown-ups!

We’re all about providing real-life opportunities for our mini reporters to create, debate, and navigate the news – and September will see our team of mini reporters who take part in our virtual clubs take over an entire issue of The Procrastination Paper!

The magazine was set up by a friend and supporter of Media Cubs, Zabby Allen, who was inspired to set it up after discovering she was spending more than four hours each day staring at her phone. The Procrastination Paper encourages you to step away from your screen for a bit and embrace play, creativity, curiosity, conversation and adventure.

Our team of mini reporters has taken editorial control of the edition, which will be themed ‘heroes’. The team has written pieces and interviewed heroes including Zabby herself and Olympian Hannah Wheelan.

Kirsty Day, Media Cubs ‘big boss’ says: “We love working with Zabby – she has provided so many opportunities for our mini reporters to feel like their views matter, and this opportunity tops them all! We hope grown-ups enjoy reading it as much as the mini reporters enjoyed putting it together.”
