WATCH: Reporters review Jungle Book and interview actors and attendees!

We recently called it a wrap on a very exciting – and really wild – news assignment!

A team of mini reporters were invited to work with The Dukes Lancaster as one of their ‘media partners’ to produce two videos to support the promotion of their huge Summer hit theatre performance, The Jungle Book.

The lucky reporters were able to visit Williamson Park ahead of the performance to script and film an information video for ticket holders. This video had 30,000 reach in total across social media and also when released supported doubling ticket sales at that period of time. Watch it here:

Jay Walton, Head of Marketing & Communications for The Dukes, said: “It really is wonderful, we’re chuffed the guys have done a fantastic job and it’s been wonderful to create some great content with you all.

Kirsty Day, Media Cubs lead, said: “This was such a special experience for all of us to be a part of – not just the mini reporters! Sharing the performance through the eyes of our reporters was a great way to show how amazing this adaptation of the Jungle Book is.

“It’s a testament to The Dukes and their commitment to their audiences for handing over the mic to children in this way and to let them have their say.
